Hannah plays regularly in two Duos – Amicelli Duo and Toccata.

 

Amicelli Duo

Amicelli Duo is a vibrant duo of two professional cellists Rachel Threlfall and Hannah Monkhouse. They have years of experience in providing suitable music for a variety of occasions, such as weddings, corporate functions and recitals. Amicelli have performed extensively throughout the U.K. at venues including Tower Bridge Walkways, City Hall, The Victoria and Albert Museum, The National Gallery and major London hotels including The Mandarin and The Ritz.

Amicelli are passionate about their unusual duo combination of two cellos. The Cello is one of the most versatile instruments, with its extensive register and suitability for various musical styles. The Duo offers an original alternative to a String Quartet.

Amicelli have a wide range of repertoire, from light Classical to Folk arrangements, Tangos and Show tunes. You can choose your favourite pieces, or let us suggest a suitable programme for your event.

Toccata

Toccata is an unusual Flute and Cello Duo of Hannah Knowles and Hannah Monkhouse, combining the versatile qualities of woodwind and stringed instruments. Toccata perform regularly across the UK, including in their own concert series in the Midlands. Other recent performances include a recital at The National Portrait Gallery. Toccata are experienced in providing music for a variety of functions, including weddings, funerals and corporate events. Toccata's repertoire spans the contrasting styles of history, from Bach to Gershwin.

Quartet

Hannah plays regularly with various String Quartets, performing at venues such as Leeds Castle, Tate Britain, St James' Palace and The Gherkin.  In 2008, Hannah played with All Angels for their UK tour, with venues including York Minster and Coventry Cathedral.  Hannah played with Aled Jones for his 2010 Christmas tour, at venues such as St David's Hall and the Sage Gateshead.  Hannah has also played in Quartets alongside pop-opera crossover acts such as Blake, Faryl Smith and Will Martin.
